Friends, would like to check if some one has done Nepal Transcript evaluation (bachelors degree from Nepal) through any Agency (ex. wes etc) for College admission for courses. If yes please share your experience if you happen to know the agency charge and if you know some best evaluating agency and also time how long it takes.
Appreciate your help

I did it through WES. I send my original documents to Nepal got them attested by Tribhuwan University. And have them sent to WES address. I did not trust University officials so my friend send them by himself but wrote Universirty name as a sender. They charge me USD 105 for each Transcript. Took me a month to complete the whole process. It was back in 2005.
P.S. -Good thing about WES is that they organize free seminar and workshop for immigrants. I have attended severals of them in NYC which were really helpful.

I have a question. In Nepal we have percentage system.
Do these evaluators change the percentage into GPA or not. Because I got my credentials done from ECE milwaukee and they did not convert percentage into GPA. They just stated that my MSc degree in Nepal is equivalent to bachelor degree in USA. For Job purposes I really need my percentage converted into GPA. I would like to know an evaluator who would change my percentage into GPA.

Hi Adventurer, how many transcripts had you done with them looks like its going to cost high for each transcript for SLC + 12 or Bachelors . So you are looking at 4 Transcripts here. Just trying to understand the process before i sent them..

I recently completed the WES evaluation for a friend of mine. It took about several months just because they did not get the transcripts and the degree completion certificate on time. Once they get it, they complete it in about a week. So, it all depends on when they get the right documents.
Why do you need to send SLC, +2? Just evaluate the Bachelor transcript. In U.S. +2 is equivalent to high school, and SLC is, really, nothing. If you are doing the evaluation to go to school or to work, just doing the bachelor would be fine. If you are applying to schools a lot of schools require course-by-course evaluation. That will cost about $200. Then add another $100 for additional reports. So, in total it may come out to be about $250-$350.

You don't need SLC. Just your Bachelors Transcript. If you want course by course then it is UDS 160. But you only require Doc by Doc so it is just UDS 105. May be fee have changed better check their website. They have lots of upcoming events in Tri State (NY,NJ,CT) area if you live in Tri-State area you can attend those seminars and ask in person.
Again if you are sending document from Nepal bettersend them directly rather than relying on University. You can write University name as a sender and via express courier service to expedite the process.
