- You can wire transfer the money by creating a new a/c in your BoA a/c. Check your BoA for more details.
- BoA carges $40/45 per transaction. This service is better if you are sending huge fat money at a single shot. Its easy:
2a. Get Swift Code/ Routing Number of the Bank.
2b. Checking Acoount ( A/c) Number or Saving A/c Number ( this is where the transferred money will go).
NOTE:
- WesternUnion Sucks if you have to send money more than $2000 or $2500. They will ask you whole bunch of question, have to appear for telephonic interview and justify your transaction: For ex: last 3 bank statement, purpose of sending etc
- There was similar thread earlier but no concrete solution.

I think wire transfer is probably the best way if it is more than few K since we get higher exchange rate through the receiving bank in nepal (depends sometimes but most banks in nepal give average between buying and selling). I have used this in the past.
I'm just curious does anyone know if there is any problem later, sending large amounts (even collectively during a year)...... I mean any extra taxes or fine or requiring any clarification etc......
Thanks
