I have some Friends who are now in Australia. I have been noticing that the slang they use when commenting on my status, wall posts or pictures just annoys me.

I think it's only you bro, because If you are in Rome be Romans bhanchan ni.. Exatcly the same thing. Since you're in U.S thats why you like yourself to be called dude but in Aussies they called mate for dude..It's no big of a deal, just avoid it and let it go...

"Good on you" is not a bad grammer. Example: "These jammies look good on you." Clothes or anything you put on your body should have "on."

As far as mate is concerned, they might be pissed that u use "dude" ....homie!!
