the nepalese song was released in 2004. And the indian movie has not even released yet. And the female voice in both the songs are of the same singer, Akansha Lama.

This is indeed a great song. There are not many nepali "pop" songs with comparable quality, especially with ladies vocalist.

Not just the vocalist but the soundtrack they used seems to be the same (hindi version has 11.5 seconds lead. Overlap them, and you will know that.

There's no question of which one is original....when sang by same artist. Thanks दौतरी for posting it. I really liked this song...prefer nepali one for lyrics...but the male vocal in hindi one is great.

The sound of ‘Paathshaala’ remains intact though with Tulsi Kumar coming behind the mike along with Akansha Lama and Hanif Shaikh himself for ‘Mujhe Teri’. Yet another soft track that gives you a reason to smile as it plays on, ‘Mujhe Teri’ has a Western setting to it though at the core of it, it retains it’s Indian melody. Thats right. Nepali song was recored a while back by the same singer.

I like the hindi version though, may be becasue of recording quality.

The nepali song seems to have some electro magnetic disturbance even though it is digitally recorded . loss of sound. Not well enough digitized The recording must have been done without the appropriate mic and recorder.
