My H1B is expiring this Oct.  i have never been on bench through out my 3 yrs of H1b and have worked regularly for all these years. My company has also filed for labor for GC under EB2, which is under process.
i am currently with a consulting company. They have agreed to file for an extension. i am very scared due to the new memo issued my uscis on jan 08. more over my company is currently under audit by DOL.

i am scared that there are high possibilities of the extension being rejected.

Can some please suggest me any university that allows me to take CPT in my first sem so that i can continue working with my current company.
Can my company still continue filing for my GC while i am in F1??

Your suggestion will be highly appreciated.
