I heard that more than 5000+ Nepalese students go to work in Ocean City every summer..Is that right???

Dont think its that high.... but who knows!

I am not sure about the exact number... but i am pretty sure 80 percent of Nepalese students have gone to OC once or all the time in summer..

I wont be surprised if every business hired at least one Nepali the number could be more than 5000.

i know some place where they don't hire nepalese and some place where they haven't heard about nepal and nepalese ever. so i don't think its so huge.and i don't believe in 5000 data.

yes varuhas it is unrealistic, but thats what I felt like when I was in OC, felt like if all Nepalese called a banda, OC would be in trouble.

(maybe that is true for Russians)

I don't think anyone has exact figure but lots of Nepali students work in OC during the summer.

Do you guys think that 3000 would be the right number?

when i was there in 2005-2006 I think it was rumoured to be 1500. 5000 wow :D there are alternatives guys!! :D but not as fun as OC ;)

We were altogether 30 of us in 1998.

i am planning to go OC this fall. I am college free from May1st. I wish i could find work as soon as i go. But learning about all the hurdles that other brothers have faced, i am very skeptical about chances. Can you guys share your experience. I have not been there and do not know anyone there. Is adjusting and managing expenses hard there? how should i start to rent a room? and what are the work that will be available.
I would be helpful for your helpful comments.

ocean city..hahaha..i had been there before...two years..in summer. in .2008..and i feel like i would never go....again .but sabai lai naramro huncha bhanne chaina...katile teha gayera pani aaafno tution fee..pay garirakhekai chan..but for me it was reallly a bad experience...i heard there were 7000 neplese in 2008 when i was there....but most of them got atleast one job....some of the lucky guys had two jobs...it depends on ur luck....just u dont hav to loose hope...go n ask for job in each and  every store ...gud luck for all the guys jasko first summer in ocean city.......

7000 Nepali students bhaneko chai alli dherai nai bhayo jasto chhha.....may be 2000 wud be conservative number...

There sud be atleast 2000 student going to OC this summer....Hopefully they all will get job in this economy..
