Hello Sajhaites!!
Since Tax season is here and I do see a lot of posting out there, I was wondering what deductions can a F1 student claim. Any ideas? I wouldn't mind a few extra dollars in my wallet!

You have to use 1040 NR EZ, you will not be allowed to have standard deduction . You have to itemized and will lower your tax liability's. Check what kind of itemized deduction you can deduct.

You need to qualify for 11 points (google it and see in the first page of 1040 NR EZ instruction) to fill 1040NR EZ and one of the points is you should not have earned any interest from bank to use 1040 NR EZ. Go for 1040 NR.
