Very glad to listen the good Newsabout Prashant.
Ani aah i think now the time has come that a Nepali winning the Indian idol title. It would be a proud for whole Nepalese and to show the talent of Bir Gurkhas to those dhotis. Whatever the dhoti judge comments on his singing, i believe thta he is getting votes not only by people of his place but also he sings well as he don't have any formal traning. Emon parrot will be out next, and i wish amit will be runner up and oviously our Prashant will be the II. But but but Dhotis can play jal at any time. It is fact that if Prashant wins then Sony has announced the true results . but they can make different approach to make him fall. So we all should be united to make him win.
Prashant is really great as he is from Greatest Nepal.

दार्जिलिङ, 'इन्डियन आइडल' को उत्कृष्ट तीनमा पुग्न सफल प्रशान्त तामाङ सोमबार गृहनगर आउँदा हजारौंको भीड लाग्यो । मुम्बईबाट सिलिगुडी हुँदै आएका उनको एक झलक पाउन घन्टौं टाढाका बस्तीबाट हूलका हूल शुभेच्छुक ओइरिएका थिए । उनलाई लिन दार्जिलिङ, सिक्किम, कालिम्पोङ, मिरिक, खरसाङबाट चार सयभन्दा बढी गाडीमा हजारौं फ्यानहरू शुभकामना नारा लगाउँदै बिहानै सिलिगुडी झरेका थिए । ट्याक्सीको हुटमा बसेर सिलिगुडीबाट उकालिइरहेका गायकलाई सयभन्दा बढी ठाउँमा रोकेर फ्यानहरूले फूल र खादाले स्वागत गरेका थिए ।
खरसाङ, सोनादा, घूम, जोरबंगला लगायतमा पनि फ्यानहरूको उत्तिकै घुइँचो थियो । उनीहरूले 'अबको इन्डियन आइडल प्रशान्त तामाङ' भन्दै उप|mीउप|mी नारा लगाइरहँदा प्रशान्तले पनि हुटबाटै 'म सक्दो प्रयास गर्नेछु' भनेका थिए । बाटाबाटामा फ्यानहरूको चापकै कारण सिलिगुडीबाट ७५ किमि पार गरी दार्जिलिङ आइपुग्न सात घण्टा लाग्यो । सोनी च्यानलका तर्फबाट कडा सुरक्षाबीच आएका उनलाई भीडबाट जोगाउन प्रहरी र स्वयंसेवक पनि मनग्गे खटेका थिए ।

अपराह्न चार बजेतिर प्रशान्तले दार्जिलिङ टेके पनि बिहान आठ नबज्दैदेखि बालबालिकादेखि बूढापाकासम्म व्यग्र थिए । चौरस्ता, सेन्ट रोबर्ट स्कुल, नर्थ पोइन्ट र चौकबजारमा आठ घन्टासम्म फ्यानहरू प्रतीक्षारत देखिन्थे । आफू पढेको स्कुल सेन्ट रोबर्टस् गएपछि उनी सात हजारभन्दा बढी शुभेच्छुकअघिल्तिर चौरस्ताको स्वागत कार्यक्रममा सरिक भए ।

उच्चपदस्थ व्यक्तित्वसहित ठूलो संख्यामा उपस्थित फ्यानलाई अभिवादन गर्दै प्रशान्तले जातीय भावनाले ओतप्रोत 'यो मन त मेरो नेपाली हो...' गाउँदा माहौल उचालिएको थियो । 'म तपाईंहरुकै घरगाउँको नेपालीको छोरोलाई विजयी गराउनुहोला,' मञ्चबाटै उनले हाँसीहाँसी भोट अपिल गरे— 'म तपाईंहरूले लगाएको गुन कदापि बिर्सने छैन ।' उल्लेख्य संख्याका पmयानबीच यसो भनिरहँदा उनको खुसी आँखाबाट झरिरहेको थियो । चौरस्तामै दार्जिलिङ गोर्खा पार्वत्य परिषदका तर्फबाट स्वागतमा मुन्धुम र सोरठी नृत्य प्रस्तुत भएपछि उनले तीनटा गीत गाए र भने- 'मलाई विजयको शुभकामना दिनोस् ।'

चौरस्तापछि प्रशान्त नर्थ पोइन्टको कार्यक्रममा सहभागी भए । बिहानैदेखि प्रतीक्षारत हजारौं फ्यानअघि त्यहाँ पनि उनले केही गीत गाए । डम्फूको तालमा मौलिक पहिरन लगाएका पmयानहरूले स्वागत नृत्य प्रस्तुत गरिरहँदा उनले पनि झ्याम्टा बजाउँदै ताल मिलाइरहे ।

साँझसम्म कार्यक्रम दौडाहामा रहेका प्रशान्त सोमबार दार्जिलिङको डेरामा आमा, दिदी र हजुरआमासँगै बसेका छन् । 'इन्डियन आइडल' मै देखाइने प्रतिस्पर्धीका गृहनगरको झलक छायांकन गर्न सोनी टीभीले पठाएका उनी मंगलबार सिलिगुडी कोलकाता हुँदै मुम्बई र्फकनेछन् ।
