According to the docytors, HIV cannot be seen for 3 months, so he will have to wait and test for HIV after 3 months. Till then he can sit and think over what he did.

I'm responding to this message because I am a researcher in HIV/AIDS. 1. Does your friend know for certain that this lady he had sex with is HIV+ or had AIDS? 2. Having sexual intercourse with an HIV+ person DOES NOT necessarily mean you will contract the virus. Like someone said in this thread, there is a 3 month window period after which the virus shows up in your blood-stream. 3. If it is at all possible, and I know it's tough, he should discuss his problem with his wife. Perhaps he can take the help of a professional such as a counselor. 4. The CDC (Center for Disease Control) website should have helpful info. about HIV/AIDS. Here it is: http://www.cdc.gov/ Look under "diseases and conditions". Hope this helps. Don't panic. Good luck.

First, take that lady with you and check her blood. If she doesnt have AIDS, then you should feel that you are safe. One of my friend did the same after days of tension.
