Prajesh - Thank you so much for the link.

What a joy to listen to Prem Raj Mahat - full of excitement in showcasing his talents and a very down to earth interview.

Here's a video of 'Country Road' by Olivia Newton John. All of John Denver's versions to embed are disabled. This is, if Prem Raj visits Sajha.com, a tribute to you and your idol. Just as you sang his version in the interview, this is, obviously, a slightly different as well.

Here's the link again folks.

Thanks, Prajesh.

Howdy, SSNY.

Folks, this is a must-listen - whether you are fans of Mr Mahat or not. A whole lot of talent and good spirits come out in the conversation. So I am pushing it up - I'd love to make this a sticky topic or a featured post - if only I had the powers to do so :)

46 albums is indeed incredible.

Also, Steve Inskeepp and TOTN are truly amazing - can't get enough of them.

True, Pacifier. I was impressed, though, at how Prem Raja presented himself with promise and optimism

Also, I meant All Things Considered, not TOTN - it's the long drive today:)

Dedicated to my fav singer Prem Raja Dai, his interview was really great, i never thought he was such a huge fan of Elvis Presley. And this song by John Denever COUNTRY ROADS TAKE ME HOME is my fav too, It was unbelievable to listen my fav English number by our own NEPALI LOK GAYAK.......

Salute to Prem Raja Mahat, and here I would like to dedicate this song to you again, another version of the same song.

Especially, im totally touched by
"I hear her voice in the mornin' hours, she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
And drivin' down the road I get a feelin'
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday."

-----------------------Here comes full lyrics--------

Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains growin' like a breeze.

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads.

All my mem'ries gather 'round her
Miner's lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye.

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads.

I hear her voice in the mornin' hours, she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
And drivin' down the road I get a feelin'
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday.

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads.

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads
Take me home (down) country roads
Take me home (down) country roads.
