After intense protests against the delay of the historic house proclamation, Deuba has turned defensive saying that he could never support monarchy after all the "bads" he has had faced with the monarchy in the past. It is natural for Deuba to try to act defensive for he was responsible for the delay in the approval of the house proclamation. Deuba might have other issues, however, it came at a wrong time. People are constantly monitoring and waiting for results which can match their interests and those which can account for the death of so many people. Deuba seems to have felt the punchline. Deuba is reportedly angry at reports saying that they were basically aimed to end his character and ruin his political career. Read more: http://dreamnepal.wordpress.com Is this guy insane or has be become the victim of some other politician's game? I personally would think that he will not generally support monarchy in power, however, you never know these politicians...may be Deuba is expecting another coup...and yet another time to be a nominated PM...

That's a lie. According to one other blog report, it's late to go defensive for him because he already gave an interview to bbc supporting gyane's ass.

I listened to what deuba said n' Lila Pokhrel said in BBC interview. IMI, do you expect deuba to say directly that he wants king to be 'Paramadhipati'? He has still got some cunningness to imply it. However, he can't fool people. He is supporter of gyane that I can tell by listening his interview to BBC.

Gwajo, why do u think he would be supporter of king after the king has done so much to him.I don't think if he has little bit of self respect he wouldn't.. I think he is scared that probelm might arise later in countries soverignity and independence.think about it with no clear process. Some non democratic forces can take advantage.

I hope that he has some respect for himself; but unfortunately he doesn't seem to have the one. Expecting him to speak straightly in favor of gyane is not gonna happen. But his interview implies that he's trying to save gyane's ass. He doesn't have any respect coz' culprits like wagle are still in his party. Long time back, Kantipur published a story when he was PM; there's not even a bridge to go his birthplace, and he doesn't give damn about it. I don't know how these people still get elected.

Show me one party who doesn't have corrupt MPs. corrupt means border term not only with money.Either they are driven by china, india and us or some other forces not with their vision and dedication for the country.I still give deuba benefit of doubt.

Every party has got corrupted bastards. However, the accused criminals like wagle, khume, gacchedar, gupta, govinda raj joshi being in a higher post is unbearable. Deuba has created chaos and problems whenever he was in the parliament; so he should never be given a chance to be PM again; their party can elect other cadre for that post. He can never be fair with the presence of arju rana et al.

I'm not judging b'coz she's just rana. If you know some of deeds n' attitudes of her, you'll know what i'm talking about. Now, she's even trying to come to lime light. I just dislike aristocrat mentality. She even mentioned abt it while her recent visit to NY n' i read the whole discussion abt it on sajha.

Kukkur bro, In the other thread you were talking about American men, now here you are talking about having anal sex with Shere Deuba. Are you using Sajha platform to come out of the closet? Not that anything's wrong with it, as in Seinfeld.

Deuba's every action proved him a pro-monarchist. He splitted his own party (built by thousands of hands) just to empower RNA and it's supreme-commander-in-chief Gyane. Indeed, he was the one who increased the budget of palace 7 times. Honestly speaking, he never wanted a peaceful resolution of the current conflicts, but supported RNA in its move to crack down them by gun. Both Deuba and the palace were great actors. It sounds like what Gyane did was just a plan by both Deuba and the palace. Palace acted like sacking Deuba, and Deuba acted like being sacked by the palace. Both had hands in destroying the "budding " democracy in the past.

In principle what Deuba said is not incorrect. The state heads are the supreme commander of the army also, if we see the traditions and practises of other countries but irony is that our state head does not respect the universal traditions and practises. It will be just an stupidity to expect King G to be as ceremonial as Queen Elizabeth of UK or King Akihito of Japana or other European monarchs. Its not Deuba but the king himself must appear in TV and claim the supremacy of the army and convince the nation that he would remain inactive. And Deuba, he has to always do something funny or create a scandal to show his presence in Nepali politics.

In Nepali proverb said..... "Chor ko TuLo Shor...." Deuba eat Rs 50 Karod and Melamchi Drinking Water Project. He is not only common type criminal and corrupted crooks..... He destroyed peace, development, and help to create Maoist revolution. Dueba destroyed Nepal and Nepali reputation in international arena like World Bank, Asian Development Bank. Nobody trusts to Nepal and Nepali. Now who will help Nepal to build and who will give Loan to developed Nepal. Nobody..... So Deuba and his criminals and corrupted followers must be hanged in front of Public Park.

Guys, Agreed, Deuba was not the best leader we have had but it might also be the case that things have been over-diverted. Yesterday, he claimed that he would be the most happiest if the outcome is the removal of the king. After we remove the king, I agree with Deuba that the head(president?) should be the supreme chief of army...
