'Tis the season of Dashain and we're all celebrating it with family and friends and at 'big' parties. How was the party at your neck of the wood?

New York's party on the 8th was quite qood. Good turn out despite the bad weather - rain. Sarishma and Sanjeev - all the way from Maryland, wowed the crowd along with many others, local and more from the DC area.

Got totally wasted - guess that's what Dashain is for me. (Kudos to NY Kala Manch for a job well done!).

How was yours?

Newyork's dashain party must've been very fun since there are so many nepali ppl around anyways it was pretty good here too.. mine was like a blast!! danced like a freak and the cultural performance were fantastic and the place was nicely organized+ the food was sooo goood, much better than last year ....
have more dashain party yet to come !!

jptgyall - Where's "here"?

NY surely have a lot of Nepalese. About 15,000? But only about 500 showed up at the party on Saturday. As I said, let's blame that on the darn rain.

ONLY 500...here is here in ontario...some town lol..

Our Dashain Party here in Dallas was great.. Around 1200 people showed up..
