Tax Analyst

Description:
Responsible for the preparation and filing with the appropriate taxing authorities of federal and state income and franchise tax returns for the company and domestic affiliates.
Responsible for assisting with audits in this area with minimal supervision.
Prepares federal, state and local income and franchise tax returns and assists with tax provision calculations.
Deals with federal, state and local taxing authorities during audits by gathering requested information and responding to information requests.
Assists with state registration and filing of annual reports.
Assists with property tax and sales & use tax issues as needed.
Reviews changes in federal, state and local laws to identify impact on the company and make suggestions on how to implement strategic action.

Qualifications:

Education:
Two or four year college graduate with courses in accounting or finance.

Experience:
One to three years of experience in a tax role.
