As per my understanding there was a peace rally this year organized by chrisitans and churches in the valley. And it went pretty well. I just pray that the life and reserruction of Christ will impact our country and bring life to every part of it. Let God give his eternal peace to Nepal

then why do you even bother to look at this thread. This thread is not for you mister....it is for us. Easter is our festival and we were just discussing and wishing each other about it. You have no right to pass any comments on this. Just mind your own business buddy............i will never ask you anything when you are wishing eachother on shivaratri...... Lets be fair............your narrowmindedness really sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We celebrate Easter because Easter commemorates the day Jesus Christ was resurrected. It's like Dashain which symbolizes the victory of Gods and Goddesses over the demons. Easter symbolizes the resurrection of the Son of Man after he took all our sins upon himself. It all depends upon your faith ...

wishing any holiday (religious, public, private or whatever) is totally fine. because even if you don't celebrate that particular holiday, you can join your friends who celebrate it and you can celebrate it with them. just like it might not be your birthday but you do celebrate your friend's birthday with your group of friends. so celebration itself is a wonderful idea. however, there is another thread here that ask people what is their religion....whoever started that thread must not have been taught by their parents that you don't talk about religion outside your own family...so talking about religion and defending it in a public forum is a stupid idea and is a waste of everyone's time....it will accomplish nothing worthy!
