I myself don't think B.P. is the greatest South Asian leader. True, he comes no where close to Gandhi or Nehru.

He appeared as the only Nepali leader mentioned in the list. That's why I was like "Why not?". Gandhi and others will definiately lead, but why not let B.P. get some pity votes?

Nepal hasn't seen "great" leaders since Bahadur Shah I tell ya.

i agree with doctorbee. B.P. is extremely overrated in our country , or at least in a certain section in our society. I personally dont think he is a great leader. He is a just an average leader. Oh COMMON WAKE UP, how can u compare him with Gandhi?

BBC is just commercializing. This is all stupid. I wonder if any pakistani will even vote for anybody other than Jinnah, just like we nepali will not vote for anybody other than BP. and by the way, How can one compare Gandhi to his own products, like Neheru and Indira Gandhi and JInnah.. ..and one more thing, this is a great example of the power of media in 21st century.

I dont think neither Gandhi nor B P was great leader. Ghandi was moron.......if he wanted he could have got independence on 1024 and he could have spare life of Bhagat singh. He see them as rebel. He made great leader my guru .......subash chandra bose exhile. He wanted then he could have stop partition. He is assholllllllllllle. I dont like him .

What is BP? guy who has less brain than mahendra. He was a looser. HE won the power but he was bought by Mahandra. He is nothing compare to king Mahandra. I wish mahandra was still alive. His concept is stil great if u look. It was polluted by leaders and follower after him. His own concpet of panchayt is very close to commuinism. The centralisim of power. He is great and he will be.
