Hi Sajhaiets! MY girlfriend is suffering from Leukemia. Because of luck, somehow we found it in innitial stage of it. I was wondering what type of suggestion do I get from Sajhaiets about different treatments and diagnosis of Leukemia. How much it is curable? and what are the things that we have to think and careful on? We will appreciate all the suggestions.

Sorry to hear about your girlfriend's condition, but am happy to hear that it was diagnosed early enough. I don't know anything about Lukemia's treatment, but I am sure there are lot of resources on this in the net, or at your local library. Try www.webmd.com. Besides websites, you might want to check newsgroups and discussion forums. I wish you guys lots of luck and speedy recovery to your girlfriend.

Lonely, I am surprised that this thread was initiated by you.. Just noticed.. Sorry to hear that man. You can find plenty of information on the web. Go through Google or whatever search engine. It's good that caught it in initial stage. I am pretty sure there is some treatments even though I have no knowledge about this. Good luck man...

Lonely star dude.....really sorry to hear that but in the mean time there is hope coz she is in early stage. When i was in australia i came across with so many patients of lukenemia> They were so still cheerful and cool. Only advice from me i can give u is. Dont make her feel that she is different from others. Treat her like as usual , dont make her fell she is sick. Stick to her...listen to her...spend more time as much as u can. This is the moment of truth and time to show your dedication for love. good luck bro and may god have mercy. My prayer is with your gf

Sorry to hear that Lonley Star, but like moneyminded said, i think there is nothing much you can do except pray to GOD and be there for your gf when she needs you, and make her feel happy, and listen to her and don't ever stop having faith. Like Money said, if you stick with her during a time like this she'll be happier and be better quickly ......and believe me, nothing can win over love. Good luck to you and your girl. :-)
