Hi Guys,
i am trying to invite my mother in law and there's a question "Who's paying for the Trip"... i helped filling this form and i filled out with "Self" option.... now i am thinking, maybe i should have put my Name in that field ? As i was planning to submit my Pay stubs and Tax returns.

With the "Self" option i have put in the form, will it be a problem if they show my income ? could the officer bring this questions saying in DS160 it says you're self paying but now they have my income as proof ?
Also, with "Self" paying for the trip, they may say my mother in law's income is not enough for this trip ?

Please suggest what can be done. Ds-160 has been submitted and interview has been scheduled.

Thank you.

You should pay attention on that , interview has been scheduled , so you can not fix the error (I guess) . Commonsense they are not that picky unless applicant and sponsor has some red flag. should be okay ...
Good Luck
