Dear Friends,

I am trying to get medical coverage for me and my wife (currently under F1/F2; TPS pending but EAD approved) for 2016. We are planning to have baby in 2016 and we currently live in Maryland. Any ideas how/which insurance will cover for the pregnancy cost? I just checked MD Health Connection (.gov) website and it says we will not be eligible for a medical coverage that will also cover for pregnancy.

After seeing your Status changing from F1/F2 to TPS, EAD..bla bla...it seems your career is nowhere to be settle in US.

BUT you still decide to make babies. Of course, babies born in US are US citizen, and US govt will take care for all FREE medical and health costs. Because of babies citizenship, you won't be kicked out of the country as well.

And immigrants like you also give birth to Donald Trump. Yes, Immigrants did create Donald Trump.

Some Green Card holder immigrants bring their parents and next day, they demand to have Medicaid and Medicare for their parents from State Govt.

Immigrants in US start to act like mad dog in a street in the name of Human rights. They demand everything from Govt. And Govt makes some rule and laws for immigrants, and they get offended.

Kaiser Permanente is affordable if you are willing to go to their centers for treatment. They don't cover out of network charges.

I think any premium you choose right now will cost you more than $120/month to cover all the expenses. It also depends upon how much you will make next year. Usually there are program like CHIP  for non-resident that covers all the cost of pregnancy and child birth cost will be covered by emergency medicaid. That is how it is in Texas I don't know about your state.
