Hey guys, I have a confusion. I am thinking about applying for the TPS EAD now. And I graduate in Spring 2016. So when I graduate, if I apply for the OPT EAD, will I have to surrender the TPS EAD? How does it work? What is my best option here? Should I just wait until I graduate ? Thanks KB

You can keep both EADs but you need to decide which one to use and when.

Does that mean as no matter which ever status gave you the ead, you are still eligible to apply for tps ead?

@bbmb sorry for late response; IMO you are eligible to apply for TPS (with or without EAD) as long as you are in non-immigrant status.

Your tps ead will be valid until dec 2016 no matter when u apply. By the time you get opt ead, your tps ead will only have about 4 months left.
