Living a mundane life in western countries, meeting the same people day in and day out, doing the same thing every day. With horizon so closed, with progression limited or next to none, missing Nepal everyday, wishing you did not have to be where you are, wishing you were with your parents, your friends and your neighbors, wishing if there was a way to contribute to you country, wishing that you had enough courage to make that decision that you have been longing for so long to go back home, wising that you did not have limits and ideas created in your head of what people might think of you if you were to go home today, and wishing for the right time to come to make the bold move…………………………………………………… Well now if the time. Now is the time you can contribute to your country. Now is the time your countrymen need you the must. Now is the time to do something good in your life that you cannot measure in dollars. Now is the time to break those barriers and stereotypes. If not now then when? We all want to one day contribute towards our country. What day could be more important than today? You may have to quit your well paying job to go back home and help the countrymen, but your contribution would be priceless. There are many things in life money cannot measure and we need to realize that. So I have booked my ticket for next week and I will be gone. I am tired of my mundane life here. I want to do something meaningful in my life. Dollars cannot buy what I will be experiencing. The time has come. Are you ready to join me?

I am thinking about going too. but I am thinking if i could be more useful by going there or just giving my plane ticket money as a donation. Wish i was a doc or a nurse , then i would have no doubts.. but the skills i have learned here doing silly job requirements and phony American accent i learned won't be much help, i think.what do you guys plan? what are you going to do when you land there? i dream of doing even little things like handing out water bottle or blankets, but would that be more effective than sending money... i am thinking of doing 2nd job in the evening....
