Hi everyone, I was daydreaming about moving to Nepal, constructing a small beautiful house within 200 m square with parking +small garden then live happily ever after. Well, ts just a dream for now but I hope THE DAY WILL COME so was just imagining how should my house look like.
I googled and also checked trekearth, flicker n other sites still it was hard to find my Dream House (even in picture ).

How abt this one?  ( taken from net)
Please share your dreams through pictures :-)

Lots of places and very cheap places in Nepal where you can build home with "billion dollars views"

Nepal is truly a HEAVEN

Amazing, happily ever after is only in movies not in real life. And the dream house only looks like a dream house in pictures not in reality so, there's no point in sharing pictures!

During first time visit to Banarasi, for Ritural I was surprised to see houses with Iron gate and all windows were secured with Iron. We are going on that phase. Nepalse thief do not take 100 bills, that happended to my relative.

Every one will suggest for the iron grills on widows, need some alteration then the house my look quite different than now.

From cost effectiveness why the front porch is 2"higher with space and it will be a good place for wild animal to hide ( looks so). Raliling kind of not matched is simply flat and may be used to sit and talk and children are not allowed on the 2nd foor porch.

Windows in first floor does not water shade, or needs windows that is waterproof  and wind proof.

Where is the garage? How many bathrooms you are planning to have? Where is your water tank? You do not have any guest rooms? But good for summer house or retirement house.

Looks nice but need many modification to match your need and to be protective present and future contest.

Amazing

You can't have sofa outside because of dust. There is so much dust that everything gets coated with filth every day. Forget about cleaning everyday there is not enough water.

Amazing: You need that" Kukur Dekhi Hoshiyar" . Not because you dont like pet, but for your protection so that outside will think twice before entering your house.

While I was in Ktm , used to have 5-6 room mates and we never locked the room  and never disappeared any thing. It was totally surprising to me to see different way securing house in Panta and Kasi. Main gate has BHOTE Talcha once it pass 11 pm and all windows were secured by extra Metal frame. Now we are in similar situation.  I am not trying to be funny regarding the thief, they did not took the 100 RS and smaller bills , All 1000 RS and 500 were gone.

Forget about "Beware of dog" Even you have bhote kukur, the thief will throw meat with chemical, will make the dog sleep or quiet. Can the dog be trained not to eat any thing provided by stranger ?

Amazing bro...... Nice dream... but I got some reservation....

200 sq meter land plot costs about Rs 10 million anywhere in Kathmandu....... I guess you know this fact
Building a house as shown would cost about Rs 5 millions.....
Maintaining a house like that would cost about Rs 10,000  every month

The total cost of having such house and maintaining it for 5 years would cost Rs 16 million.... nearly equivalent to $ 200 thousands or 150 thousand Euros... ... and just think how long you have to work before you can save that amount......

For these reasons I suggest you to drop the idea.

But if you go to Nepal and start doing land business...
It will take you three years to earn that amount ....
And you can have such house.. plus beautiful wife
and ... many house like that... and many beautiful wives too if you want....

may be you should work twice as hard to transform your dreams into reality than coming to sajha and post your "day-dreams" in pictures

As far as security, cleanliness and basic necessities (enough water and couple hours extra electricity) go, the planned developments - such as Mount View Chowdhari Housing in Harisiddhi or Sunrise Homes - are good deals.

Great idea! If you put your mind into it and work towards it, you sure can retire in a beautiful house in Nepal. You can build, what you think that you can build. Use your imagination and work for it. We have to do something. It's not like we have fields to plough like our fathers.

How about a nice lake house by the biggest man-made lake in Nepal - Indrasarovar, huh? And, a nice motor boat outside your house ! Beautiful, isn't it ? 🙂

@logan I am working on it. I have been sharing my idea with friends. I have been getting good reponse. It will be cheap to build a lake house by Indrasarovar lake in Nepal. The lake is the longest lake in Nepal with about 19 km in length. That's a good length for a motor boat. Phewa lake is only 3-4 km which is not enough room for leisure ride on a motor boat.

I will be posting from there after 20 years. 😃
