It's been a while Sajha has been losing its charm and so the visitors.(http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/sajha.com#) and there is no one to blame other than its "nosy" admin himself.

Sajha used to be good. Little bit of humor, literature, even fights and tons of creative heads. Now, everything is gone. Thanks to its "overprotective" admin. It's really getting kind of irritating to see the admin's remarks frequently in "his dear" webpage. Looks like he cannot stand people who are against his beliefs and thinks its promoting the cause to serve the Nepali diaspora at large. This is just a bull $hit my friend. Its just hampering the rights to freedom? Any one can say anything to anyone through virtual media anonymously. So, Let it go and stop offending your visitors if you are thinking of sustaining your website for the days ahead. Face the harsh realities of virtual media dude! You CANNOT fix it all. There will ALWAYS be stereotypes and fights lurking around here. You can never stop 'em all unless you start banning all the threads out here and your banning does not do a $hit about changing one's opinion.

You will be one less user today because i am sure my ID will be banned and hence deleted like Kim Jong used to kill its citizens and bury them somewhere unknown.

I don't care about what other people think about Sajha. And specially I don't care about the ratings. I don't usually write anything here unless some nutcase like Jesuslovestodunk comes and  creates a psychopathic mayhem. But being away from Nepal for a long time, I just like to read through some positive/interesting threads and feel at home.

Stay positive, and have a great new year ahead!!!

Just because you are annonymous does not give you the right to be abusive, derrogotary, racist etc.

Also, every forum has their own rules. Sadly, many sajha users have not seen any other fourms. IMO Sajha admin be more active and ban trolls.

Have you seen anything going inside North Korea?
Please familiarize yourself first. I have watched a couple of documentaries: e.g. A state of mind, the one on vibe, etc.
You must be a nut or an anachirst to make such a statement.

Pitbull, there are many schools of thought on what an admin should do in a web forum. Whether he should stay away from making any comments, whether he should post weekly/monthly comments, or whether he should comment when needed.

The rule of the thumb here is, I stay away from commenting until there are questions raised regarding the functions, goals of the site. It is important that visitors are aware of the truth, instead of believing in any false information that is dissipated by someone possibly with malicious intent. If the admin stays quiet while statements are being made about the site then, it is possible that some new users will believe in those statements however untrue they may be.

As you have falsely claimed, my actions are never against people who are against my beliefs. It is the sheer redundancy and repetiveness of dissent that will deem it necessary to take action due to the viewers atrophy that is created by repetiveness.

Your post is a perfect example. You have every right in sajha to express your opinion, as you have done. Others have responded to you and I am doing it right now. It's all a natural flow of things. BUT, if you make it your goal to bore everyone by re-repeating your content in every thread then action will have to be taken to maintain a general level of sanctitiy.

So, if it makes you feel any better, do post the same thing 2 - 3 more times, because you might reach a larger audience. But, please be forewarned that if you do it the 4th time, action will have to be taken as indicated above.

Sajha has been called Royalist, Maoist and now North Korea, which shows that sajha has been successful in creating a virtually comfortable zone, where everyone can be themselves and make their prejudiced judgments reserved and guaranteed by their anonimity. I am thankful to you for confirming it.

Well, I could go on but since you don't like to see too many remarks by the admin, I will stop here.

Happy New Year to you

First of all I agree that we don’t have the talents that we used to have in the past. Narcissistic posts and meaningless ramblings are the prevalent posts these days. Not because most of the users like them, it’s just that Sajha ranks the post listing by the last thread posted. Obviously, meaningless ramblings and back-and-forth accusations tend to get to the top just because people doing that have so much free time on their hands.

Is the admin to be blamed? Partially, because it is his site after all. But not because of his control over the postings, but because the system that is in place. Actually, censoring of few out-of-line threads has help maintain the sanity of the site. There have been many posters in their past who kept on posting offensive threads and got into many user’s skin at times. Had they continued doing so, they would have completely overtaken sajha and posters like myself would never have come back again. San, by controlling such postings, hasn’t made it dictatorial site but rather given the true meaning to the site name: Sajha; it is not a single person’s site. I would go on to challenge to show me one single post/poster that got banned and didn’t have reason to get banned.

If Sajha wants to regain its quality back, one suggestion I have is to prioritize the threads by rankings/last post. There already is a system to rank posts, this should get more priority. Maybe somekind of weight can be assigned to the last post and rankings and the thread with highest weight will show up up-top.

Just my suggestion. Please continue banning the offensive posters and those who think it is their personal message board. I have no problem with that.

I hate entering this North Korea regime website and post whatever i want freely. Too much freedom in this authoritarian website and  i completely agree Pitbull. San jong il needs to loosen up the strict freedom he has bestowed upon his citizens. People are dying of famine and freedom over here.

There are plenty other Nepali websites; I wonder why complainers chose to come back and trash Sajha all over. Just leave...no?
