भन्दा बिश्व को एक धनी अनि बिकासित ठाँउ रोजगारी र शिक्षाको अबसर भा को ठांउ मा गएका नेपाली तर कुरा सुन्दा भने भिकारी भन्दा पनि सिनिएर भिकारी का जस्तो पारा यि साझाका आमेरिक नेपाली लन्ठुहरु को के हो चाला सुपर मार्केट मा काम गर्छु रे पेट्रोल स्टेसन मा काम गर्छु रे डियुटी लामो पढेको पनि छैन क्याम्पस पनि गा छैन पैसा छैन रे पैसा पनि नेपाल बाट मगाउँन पर्ने भो रे कुरा सुन्दै जाँठा ठन्किने के भुत्रो गर्न गाको त ? नेपाल मै बसेर हलो जोत्न छाडेर .........अझ नाट्क नेपाल को याद आउछ रे...भाते हो भात खान गाको ? नेपाल को ढिडो नरुचेर ?साझा खोल्यो  यसो टाइम पास गर्छु भनेर सबै आमेरिका मा बस्ने नेपाली  कुरा के के ठयक्कै नेपाली नेताहरुको पारा कहिले सुध्रन्छौ ?
लाज नभाका केटाहरु हो, नेपाल बाट पैसा पठाउन त कि तिम्रो बाउ मन्त्री हुन परो कि सुजता गर्लफ्रेन्ड हुनपरो नाइ त प्रचन्ड को कुटुन्ब अन्याथा गाउ घर को कुटोकोदालोले तिमीलाई पैसा पठाउने कि कोदो किनेर ढिडो खाने ?

Pathaune le pathauchan ani aafnai chhora ra chhori lai Bigarchaan....why bust your brains over this???...this totally disgusts me when people here ask money from back home when it should have been the other way around............YA I know a couple people who do that and that is WRONG.....but who am I to tell them??  no need ...........but I also know that these guys DADs in Nepal are Huge business men and can easily afford to send these kids to BU and pay rent etc.....they are cows that many young people milk everyday...BUT  my friend that I went to college with 8yrs ago had a very tough subject and couldnt work so his family supported him....sold land house to the bank, jewelry, everything until he graduated.....NOW he works as a top exec director of a well known company....Bought 5 times more land , huge mansion, and retired his DAD....he proved me wrong here friend.......garne le gaarchhan.....just you dont do it. whoever does it ....kasai ko bau ko vitamin le ni rokna saakdaina.....Saabai ko aafno aafno tension....shes the BOMB!!

I dun think asking money from nepal is wrong. There is no right and wrong. For those stdents who dun have scholorships and are not in big cities, how can they afford their tuition fee?? Gairkanuni bhayera base matra ho uniharulai. Jasle padhai chodna sakchan, they'll do it. I'm not saying its wrong. And for those who want to study, they have no other choice. Uniharu dukha nagarne pani hoina, garchan. I have seen many  students work their ass of in summer and still not save enough money. Kaam garchu bhandai kaam paucha ra??
So hajurbaa, You talk pathetic. Aruko kurama chaaso rakhna kam garnush. You'll not understand the life here. Its hard but its good and deffinately makes one a lot smarter.
Most of the Nepalese here has a sad story to tell.  

How many straight legal jobs are there in Nepal where you can save enough to be able to pay $15,000 to $30,000 per year?

If I was to make a guess, 95% of people who are able to send money for their kids education in the US, made their money through not so legal means.

Well, there was a time when students who came to the US were mostly on scholarship.  With infusion of relative affluence among Kathmandu community, the new breed of students are mostly self-financed to a degree.  

In the latter case, financing from home usually covers the first year and the student is expected to win scholarship or generate necessary funds through off-campus employment.    Now with stricter regulations, students are being forced to ask for funds from home more and more.  

Not all parents who send money to pay for their kid(s)' education are corrupt.  Some people have become really affluent in Kathmandu through legitimate means, believe it or not.  And there are those who are land rich.  Sure there are corrupt ones, especially those who work in public sector, but my point is, not everyone is corrupt.

So what I am doing here stating the obvious?  All I am trying to say is: to each his/her own, and it ain't nobody's beezwax.

ए  बाजे, नेपाल म बसेर बाटो रोक्दै ढुङ्गा हान्दै गाडी का पाङ्रा बाल्दै बस्नु भन्दा त अमेरिका गएर आफैले दुक्खा गरेर पदेको राम्रो होईन र ? सक्ने ले नेपाल बाट ल्यएर पनि पद्चन , नसक्ने ले ज्ञास  एस्तसन मा नै लुकेर काम गरेर भए पनि पद्चन । अनि लुकेर काम गरे पछी कहिले के पर्छ कहिले के , लिगल प्रसँग पनि उथिइ हल्छ ।
अब पद्न नि पद्दैन , पैसा नि नेपाल बाट न्यै ल्याउनु पर्नेरी हो भए त , बाजेको चौरेय्को गुला हात म हल्दिए हुन्छ ।
बाथा बजे हरु ले नाती नातेना हरु लाई करदौको जग्गा जमीन जोदिदिए र अमेरिका मा बसेर नेपाल बाट ल्यै पद्न सक्ने बनैदिए, तिमी बुदा नेपाल कै नेता झै अर्काको कुरा गर्दै बस । कासी पस्ने बेलामा कहाँ साझा म आएर नती नतीनआ हरु को गिदी खान थलेको बुदा ।
