Hi Guys, How do you find assistantship(TA,RA,GA) for your grad study.Lot of indians in my programme and I have already given hope. Saving is slowly evaporating. Feeling damn worried for the future.

Writing good English is one of the key measurements for RA and TA appointments. Among others finding financial support for your graduate school depends upon your discipline and research grants made available by the NSF and the government organizations like Department of Energy, Department of Defense, Department of Agriculture and so on. Before you apply look into the departmental past and current research works and figure out who is securing grants to conduct research. If you think you are good enough and you have what is needed then transfer college where you can get it outright. Otherwise try to struggle, prove yourself , 1st by word then by action...
