@newlynew: You'll see soon who is terror and what is legitimate? Better try to understand peoples' power. Maoist made 240yrs Shah Monarchy to escape permanently, so, these Indian Dalals won't last longer. The only difference they are showing this time is using voice instead of bullet. I understand that they are good in bullet too.

As per interim constitution those who got into constitution assembly by recommendation are allowed to be minister and PM. These constituents were drafted by all parties along with Maoist who are nearly the majority in the assembly. So why the heck you complaining about not getting elected directly? You know all these drama going on from last few weeks is just a cry and ploy of Prachanda. Maoist got rid of kingship because of support from other democratic political party. This time the don't have support. I think, its now time for their own end. Feeling pity about those cadres who followed and ruined their youths and childhood supporting his agenda. They were there for better Nepal and did not fight to make Prachanda PM.

2ppi: I fully understand if you are maoist sympathiser. But as human beings capable of using our brains, I would urge you to think independently and truly for the people. What is your views on the maoist extortion going on in Kathmandu today? I would be disappointed if you are in as much denial as the maoist leaders about this issue. If they have such support of the common people, why would they have to transport their cadets from all over the country to already overcrowded Kathamndu? In my eyes, they have grown quite cocky over time just like ex-King. We all know consequences of what happens when try to force your agenda down the throats of the unwilling population.

Gothalo, there may be people who might not have won the election but this government has an absolute majority. They have right to chose anybody because we voted majority of them. The flaw is not in the government but the way election was set up. I hate this SAMANUPATIK where people will sneak through back door.

No_queiro: Note that samanupatik was maoist demand as they were pretty unsecure to go to the election.

I don't have any problems with any parties ruling current government or maoists or some Sam Dick or Harry the point to be stress is they should address the national problems by bringing everyone is consensus but it seems that they are just concentrating on getting the top most powerful positions for themselves and use national resources to fulfill their own interests.Toppling any government is not solution neither the violent street protest or government firing protesters but seems that what going to happen.

1) Did everyone forget the Sr. Deputy PM Bijay Kumar Gachhadar. He was victorious from 2 places <period> 2) Also, the CA members were send to write the constitution, not form the government. Constitution drafting and Running government are two different things. Maoists left the government because they did not have the majority, after other parties walked out of the government. So Rule of Democracy (Thumb Rule) Majority Wins. Maoists lost the majority, lost the Power. simple as that. 3) Khairey, sorry dude u r partially right. That is only for the PM. the PM has to be the CA member, rest need not be. MKNepal is a CA Member. He can be the PM constitutionally. <period> 4) 2ppi, sorry dude, you need to grow up. will you still support Maoists' extortion if you end up being in the victim's side? I guess it deals with human sentiments not just political issue. I know what happened since GPK came into power was wrong, but this is not right either.
Lets unite against Maoists' extortion.

Whatever the actual reason was, maoists resigned in protest of the President's "unconstitutional" move to restore COAS; not because they lost the majority. Let's keep fact with facts.

Maoist was only there doing shameful cry with "janalahar" and "janbidroha" threats if "samanupatik" was not introduced in constituents assembly election. They did not believe that Nepali junta wanting the change would give them victory. And still after getting victory they are doing all these....

raju161, don't know what you are up to ! One think I can say, had there been monarchy and no revolution happened in 2006, the Nepal would have been same or degraded further for another next 200 years. We had seen this in last 200 years. Please ! people here are just in favour of democracy and peace, unlike you who just want King however and what it takes to be. People wanted change so they welcomed new party maoist that time. And now its not as per our expectation and so everyone of us are crying to get rid of these. There will be new one soon in few years, this is how democracy moves with junta the ultimate power. I accept, we all have to go through some harsh course because of too much of illiteracy and poverty.

Why "दु:ख पायिस् मंगले आफ्नै ढंगले" ? That would be suited for you and deposed king. No future at all for you and your King's gang whatever the outcomes in coming days in Nepal. Aren't you the one who once got bitten by every users in sajha? Shame on you ! you are still here popping out on these posts in Sajha. May be you have no place to go बिचरा

Come back in 2 months, then in 2 years and then in 10 years... I know you will still be saying the same thing. You are neither a threat nor an entertainer for us. Just a dirty expulsion of pus from the zit. Looking at you, I remembered one TV serial where one Psycho man just like you always shouts at people "भुइचालो आउँदै छ !!".... .. By the way, did you hear a recent news that Paras saying "tapaiharu aijo bhannu ma aihalcu ni"... man ! that was hilarious. And you are his bhakta And soon if these dictator join the maoist, you will one be on the YCL line. One more thing, you must be happy getting my attention. Otherwise, I have noticed no one here even care what you write. Your posts just sit lame in all the threads ..बेजती !!

I know this topic must have been discussed a million time over here at Sajha. Okay our glorious Senoir Deputy Prime Minister was elected. Great. I know the Constituent Assembly is supposed to draft the new Constituent but waht about other issues?? How on earth can a person who lost fro two two places is ruling the country? People actually wanted him to take rest for a while. Initially he also was in the mood to take rest. But as soon as Rjabaadi parties thought that Maoist are getting ore powerfull and formed an alliance. India backed the same. And here we go. Suffer. It is also a defeat for maoists because they could not get much of a support from lesser parties. Should have been a win win situation for Nepal after Constituent Assembly but it is kinda lose lose for all of us. :(

Well I am not a fan of the loser Prime minister but let me address your questions. 1. He is a member of CA and is a prime minister because he as the majority support from CA. Nepal's constiution requires just that. Every major party was responsible for creating such loophole so if you want to put your blames at someone, it has to be on everyone. 2. MaKuNe got nominated to CA due the new system of proportionality. The system was put in place due to Maoist demand as they were just too insecure to go to conventional election and lose out every seat.
