is it just me or is everyone else also experiencing difficulty getting a job in your field of education. ive tried job sites, career sites, magazines..no nothing

 its been 4 months for me.. if this continues my bank account will goto zero and i will have to go back to nepal and face shame from my family

Millions are unemployed, must jobs are out sourced. Medical job, legal job, collection job any thing that can be done through the internet are out sourced.  I will be looking for one soon.

Jobs are still out there, you have to try harder and look harder.  I changed my jobs twice in last two yrs may be i was lucky but I its out there.

I say if you are unemployed you have to spend at least 8 to 10 hrs looking for jobs.  Just like you would be working.  Make a schedule wake up wash up change and start looking calling etc.  Call up anyone who is employed, if you have to go infront of buildings that have office and tell people going in and out you are looking for a job and pass them your resume...do it

gotta be strong willed about it can be done.

i am there with u Kanto. been 14 months since graduation and have worked only 4 months. Still unemployed....!!

Guys, we are looking for a system admin (CentOS 5, VMWare ESX 4, a bit Solaris 8/10 and Cisco (basic knowledge of cisco IOS, should be able to configure catalyst switch 2900 etc). It is for Texas office, a contract position for min. 2+ yrs.

I strongly agree with mucho_fiesta. Thats excatly what I did before getting a job. Remeber job search itself is a job (but unpaid) which needs commitment and focus.
