now iam in u.s and graduating after 6 months and i wanna know abt pr in canada.dont wana stay in u.s as coz of job market ,it would be better to get pr and settle life rather than maintan f1 whole life coz, its really tough for average peron to get green card in u.s ,please suggest me ,,,,if any one from canda let me know what u guys sayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Depends on which occupation you will be applying... you have to be one of the 38 high-demand occupations, if you are applying as a "skilled worker". The info you gave here is not sufficient to advise you decently... coz we have no idea where you stand. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

I think you should go to the website provided by ved555 and read it thoroughly. find out if you are eligible to apply as a skilled professional for permanent residency based on your occupation. if you are eligible, you can either apply by filling out all the necessary forms directed by the website (which is very easy) or you could hire a lawyer to do that for you (which will make your life easy but cost money). but be advised that lawyer is not necessary to do this job. you can also go to http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/index.php and read forum for what people are saying. it will give you some idea but again, don't take any of those discussion as a legal advise.
