Nepal needs a humane slaughter house. I have seen how those buffalo are killed in Bhaktapur long time ago. They tie their legs and hit the poor animal with the other end of the ax in its head. Very inhumane way of killing the animal.

Wish the Butcher Union of Nepal would create one butcher house and the meat was transported to the shops in a hygienic way. I know this is just a wishful thinking.

you must have been raised somewhere not rural because it appears that you saw it just only in your 'last trip to nepal'. besides, the regular 'treatments' they get everyday, in the villages, are far more inhumane than what you saw and can ever imagine. consider the truck-ride as a perk for the animals, before the great 'liberation' from the all the treatments at 'home'.
indeed this is an act of brutalism but they are going to be slaughtered anyways after they reach ktm...who cares if they die en route? and the sad part is, they actually do suffocate and die...and to make it worse, we do go to the buspark chheuko everest momo to chew on the horror happened in the truck 4 hours ago, with a bottle of mountain dew in our hand. dhanya ho haami nepali.

with the latest boost in national economy and development in science and technology this India is trying to treat us like nothing .... i am sorry peter as long as the bitch like sujata koirala who openly says there is no encroachment of Nepalese territory stays in Nepalese politics ...i see no way around  Doti ....We didn't cared about Kumaun and Gadwal ...sikkim and darjeeling...kalapani ...but lets stand against indial on global day of action against indian agression on june 15 ...please we all need your support
