my last post, in fact all my posts in sajha are intended to be directed to general public. that's how i approached in answering your question. by no means, i am trying to imply that you wear sexy clothes hahaha :P so please, don't get me wrong here. i was trying to analyze your question from as many perspectives as possible.

let me narrate a short incident here hai. there is this close friend of mine. she is not too much of a party animal or a social person so to speak. always focussed at her own stuff - a typical geek one may say. i think it was few years back, she was coming back from a new year party- the only party she attends in a year :D, an inebriated guy happened to come up with few physical advances only to leave her in a state of utter shock.

so the point is, if it can happen to a girl of her nature, it can happen to anyone and especially to those who happen to end up displaying hints of a desire, intentionally/unintentionally. i just wanted to unravel the possibility of that event, which is more likely to happen, when, as copycat pointed out, the ambience and the crowd is such.

as for your other counter-argument about the nature of an approach to a girl is concerned, i do think , its not being decent being direct with an approach and no one will appreciate or welcome it. but, would you not be glad to know what a person actually wanted, in advance, than to get yourself entangled under a false impression, only to leave yourself to repent later on? if a guy is up for a serious friendship, love or companionship, it's pretty obvious that he would come up with a decent proposal. now, if an ill-intended guy came up with the same, chances are, a girl may get deceived. i am for open-mindedness and transparency in a person's part, be it for good or bad cause. tetti bhanya ho :-)

At least give credit to the guy for being direct. He said what he wanted out of you. May be (it is assumption not verified) you looked cheap to him.

If anyone dares ask in such a tone, he must have seen something as a signal for invitation. So, are you to reflect upon yourself as well rather than blaming the guy for his rude approach? Think about it girl...may be it was just too inviting to resist...lol
