It happened to me once, actually Iranian ko pasal bata kineko thie..and I had guests..hardly anyone ate it..boko pani bhimsine bokai paryo jasto cha..bessari ganaune..pakaunu aghi nai ganaune bhaeko bhae pani firta garna hunthyo..paisa ra mehenat khattam :(:(

I think it was not boka but budhi bakhri ko masu becasue it took so long to cook and it was not smelling like khasi or boka ko masu so it must be budhi bakhri.

Chipledhunga, you still want to have budhi bakhri ko masu? I am so sorry that it was not khasi ko masu?? Poor my husband he end up eating most of the masu I cooked.

I am compelled to make a rather weird comment here. After looking at the last picture you posted, I became homesick again. This time it is not the food, but the flimsy-looking plate and spoons did the job. Kasto patalo ani haluka huncha ni teta ko bhada, khas gari yaha ko bhada sanga used to bhae pachi.

Plate ho ki dikchi ko birko ho tyo?
