I am a F1 Student. I want to apply for Fee Waiver for TPS I-765. According to the instructions, I have to send a copy of my tax returns to provide evidence that I have low income. But I cheated on my tax and got a little more in tax return than I was supposed to. Will USCIS care about this or will they use my tax terurn just to see my income? Please Help me!

If you cheated, you will pay the price for it. Send them your paystubs.

If I were you, I wouldn't apply for the waiver. If you don't pay them the fee, chances are that your application will be denied. And you sound like you don't have good evidences to prove eligibility for the waiver anyways. Don't be cheap. Get a job, borrow money from your relatives or friends or have your family send you the money from Nepal.

I completely agree with you about not taking risk and paying the fee and Im most probably going to do that. However, I do know that the application will not be denied for simply requesting a fee waiver. It is a facility provided by USCIS itself for people who fall under the poverty line and cannot afford to pay the service fee!

You can apply for the waiver as long as you have strong evidence to prove your eligibility. This game is all about providing documents.
