I am researching on the caste system in Nepalese society. I want literature/books/codified laws or any thing related to it, specially, the socio-economic, religious and political impact on establishing/maintaining the rigidity of the system. Also, any demographic statistics. Can anyone help me with any suggestions? Thanks

Are you affiliated to any university in the US? If yes, most of the US university's library homepage have section called "Resources." Under resources there is usually a tab called "Article/Journal." Most US universities provide free database to students and faculties such as "Academic Search Complete" through which you can search thousands of scholarly, peer reviewed articles and journals. However, if you are not affiliated to US university system, Google also provided scholar search option. If any of these don't work for you, you can always directly go to the nearest library where you live and talk to the librarian.
