Hey Mark bro,
I am interested in your idea. I always wanted to open a liquor store but I have very limited knowledge in this. I am here in Philly and would love to hear about your plans.
Peace

I agree with GT. First thing you are better off running a business alone. When money gets involved you don't want to deal with anyone esp. someone from internet. I would highly suggest you to not even involve your friends or relatives since $ ruins a lot of good relationships. Also partnership business is very risky, they can take a huge amount of loan and you will also be held liable.
If opening business alone is not possible at this time, you should look for someone who you can trust and know for a while or wait until you save more money.
good luck

the first thing that came to my mind: this guy must be a crook trying to find a hunt in sajha.

Why would you think it will not work? What's up with the negativity, doubts and discouragement in our culture? If you have nothing important to say, just ignore the thread. FYI, I have seen a very successful joint venture business where all of them met through sajha.com. It happens. I'm sure he/ she is not a teenage and he knows what he is getting into. There must be a reason he needs a partner, so your "common sense" advice is a waste of his time. I wish you luck and liquor store is a better than gas station these dsys, I think. I have families in gas station business who say it is not good these days.

Long time ago, I saw on CNBC that if a Business Person speaks with Verb+ing Form, then that person is not really into business.
If you look at the above sentences, the first word is "Planning"..which is Verb+ing Form...and so far he used.. "Looking" "Working"....all words are Verb+ing Form.
Without Verb+ing Form,
I have a plan to open liquor store business. Anyone with GC, who wants to Work with me as a partner, look no further, please contact me.
When you say "Planning". it seems you need to do more research into that field..but when you say "I have a plan"..it sounds you know what you're doing..
Nothing personal, just telling what I saw on CNBC.
