HELLO, WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP AFTER USCIS APPROVED MT I-130 APPLICATION. I AM IN F1 STATUS RIGHT NOW, CAN I APPLY FOR PERMENANT RESTDENT NOW. I PRIORITY DATE IS SEPT 2011 WHICH WILL BE CURRENT IN JULY. DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR PD TO BE CURRENT OR I CAN APPLY PR NOW SINCE I AM IN USA ALREADY. PLEASE HELP.

You have to wait until your PD gets current. In the mean time you can collect the docs, doctor's report etc for I-485

Thank you for response. Do i get any kinds of letter from uscis when priority date becomes current or i just go by the visa bulletin?
