Hi , My name is anand , i live in Boston Massachusetts .Well, my brother is law student , he and his friend got us visa to participant Jessup moot court competition which is going to held in 2401 M street NW Washington dc from 22 march to 28th march .Which is really good for them .
                     So i am looking for any chep motel or any apartment that cud rent for a week . I did called some hotels around that area but their fare is way to expensive that i cannot affort .More than $200+ per night . One of my friend told me that i can get college dorm for chep price but i try my best to search in google .

try motel 6.  They are the cheapest place to stay and some of them are good and you will have  place to cook your own meal as well with pots and pans provided.    it will cost you around $35 per night with two beds, cable TV, small kitchen etc....

You put the price you want to pay and see if the hotels will accept it.

If you want really cheap hotel rate, you will have to be out in the suburbs (just make sure the train, or T as they call it here, station is within walking distance from the hotel) and the hotel's star rating has to be low.

I once got a room at one of the decent hotels (Holiday Inn level) out in Burlington for around $35/night.

ananda why u need visa to go to DC i am confused...i have a good suggestion if you really want some cheap..why dont you look for some salvation army around DC. thats the cheapest for you.. as a matter of fact it wont cost you anything....
