In my own family, my Juwain Saheb is in high post of Nepal army and my
own Bhanja Babu was a Maoist supporter. It was very very hard time
during those insurgency period in Nepal. I loved them equally, but I
could never change their thoughts.
My Bhanja Babu was killed in
Rupandehi when he was playing with his friends by Nepal Army (he was
just a supporter). His body was not given because it was multiple
pieces. One of my classmate's son 9 years old in Syangja district went
to his Mama Ghar in Parbat and disappeared. My friend Dilli contacted
Nepal army for help thinking Maoist might captured him, but the little
boy was killed by army. The army returned his dead photo and told my
friend that he was Maoist supporter. There might be a lot of killing
and disappearance from the Maoist side, but the reality is the level of
silence killing and disappearance from the Nepal army is much and much
higher. In Doramba, 19 unarmed young boys were killed by the GASTY ARMY
by penetrating bullet from their KONCHET with their hands tied back,
they were never Maoist or Maoist supporter according to Manab Adhikar
Pratibedan. This type of killing is similar to the killing of 12
Nepalese in Iraq, too brutal and too heinus.
To tell the truth,
I am one of the Nepali who have experienced and seen the scenario from
the center. I lost my Bhanja Babu, but I can not hate my Juwain Saheb
too.
Peace...no more blame game please..
