GLOBAL NEPAL TELEVISION  (GNTV) IN USA
Special Request to All Nepalese Viewers

On behalf of “Vishwa Sandesh,” a Nepali Community newspaper, we are very pleased to have this opportunity to announce that a 24-hour satellite television channel named Global Nepal Television (GNTV) is being worked out for the Nepalese viewers of North America. This GNTV program, first of its kind to be broadcasted via satellite out of Nepal, will primarily focus on introducing Nepal and Nepalese to the world and will cover a variety of education, cultural, religious, children and entertainment programs to satisfy the needs of all Nepalese and Nepal lovers along with news in Nepali and English and a variety of Nepali, Hindi and Pakistani films and serials.

Viewers are the epicenter of this venture. The success of this television relies solely on Nepalese viewers. Keeping in mind of all the challenges, we are trying to gather as much information as possible from its prospective viewers. if its owned and run by Indian that I would not like it. If its owned and run by Nepali then I think its a good idea and I will definately pay monthly for it.

I'm happy to see this launched, if it's owned and operated by Nepali in the US, I'm in. My only request is since you're already away from Nepal and in the US, why bother Hindi and Pakistani? We've already too much problem watching them back in Nepal, many 3-HOURS of utter rubbish unproductive leisure culture we've acquired from India.. I understand that we Nepali do not have too many materials for a 24 hour schedule, but can't you just do English instead, even if it means old program, atlest to un-rely on India in a foreign land?
