if possible trying for F1 is better. Otherwise F2. If you do anything while you are in status and with proper documentaiton, everything is possible.

i have a similar situation, one of my friend came here on B1/B2 on 2002, he got a sponsor and filed for green card, later on that dhoti didnt file the tax paper, but my friend got work permit only, and he wants to join college now, so is it possible? if so what would be the process? can anyone help me????
