LATECH is cheap. around $1800/ semester (tution), if you maintain GPA 3.0+ ... or around 2,500/ semester if you don't.

Somebody that I know graduated from the university, and has a decent job in an energy company here in Houston.

Some people that I know goto this college. If you have $7,000, its enough to go to college, live, eat and so on... for a year. So people either come to Houston to work.. or goto Ocean City... in Summer.
