Has anyone else filed under the Grad quota without graduating? I just want to know if anyone has received receipt numbers? They filed me using undergrad because my grad transcripts are not out yet. Lawyer says he can’t because he could be changed with fraud, but my school says you can file with a "letter of anticipated graduation".

You try hard because H-1B masters' cap is reached 19172. Again go and ask you lawyer. Is your lawyer a Nepali or American?

I do not understand why poeple go to the lawyer. I filed my H-1B by myself ( individually).

Gohtalo and Danger - Yes you can apply with anticipated date of graduation.Your Advisor or any University official should write a letter stating your graduation date.

I cant talk to my employer till I know for sure that atleast one person has the reciept number with 'aniticipated graduation letter' for Masters Quota.

I have heard the acceptance cases even with the anticiapted graduation cases.But I am wondering that how will they make decision if I didn't send them transcript till their decision making times.Kind of curious.
Thats why I thought its better to go for normal than premium since I thought transcript might be needid withing 15 days and mine will take at least a month.

Yeah thats prob the case, My employer is confident that anyone else would get rejected.
He just told me show me one person who has the 'reciept numner' and applied with an anticiaped graduation.

Same case happened to my friend last year. His gradation date was in June and he applied on master's quota with university letter stating he did all the course work and paid all the dues for master's degree and when he is going to gradate.; ;; and his case is approved and happly working for MS.

Your lawyer is not competitive enough.There is no any case of fraud sinc e u r saying that u are anticipated gradutation.You need to change the lawyer dude.If u want I can send you the cases that approved with it.

go to www.uscis.gov. you will get uscis home page. On the left side of home page you will see a box containing "More Information" . Inside it you will see " Current Non-Immigrant Workers Visa Cap" , click here and you will see it in the first table.

I didn't receive my receipt yet since I applied late I mean last friday so it will take the time
But my employer has already cashed the ckeck so I will be getting the tracking number soon
I will send you my receipt number once I get it
But my friend in working in company where guys have done that and working happily
So tell me what you need just the name of employee or some no for verification
I will be happy to do that for you
If you want to observe my case then it may take some time since I didn't do it premium processing

Does anyone know how long it takes for H1 to process through once the receipt is sent out? I'm talking about the ones for regular cap regular filing.

My employer not going to settle for anything less then receipt number. He's been telling me -- wait and see they (cases like yours) would be rejected! I desperately need someone who has a receipt number and had filed with an anticipated graduation letter (grad school only).
