Now the King has taken the drastic step, there is a lot of uncertainity looming. The king might have a better control of the Army than Prachanda/Baburam have over the Maoists. However, when a person has a gun in hand that person is dangerous even if he is a saint or a 7 year old. But the bottom line is that we have two distinct factions to support: Maoists or the King. Obviously the King gets more votes.
I think it's better to discuss what kind of suggestions should we provide to the King to make sure he walks a fine line while he has the absolute power. Lets add the suggestions:
1. Make sure Paras does not go outside the Palace. He should be held under palace arrest until the psychologist determine he can go out in the afternoon but never in the evening/nights.
2. Make sure the law is equally applied to the security officers who go astray and amok. They should be dealt more seriously than with the political chors. This is a must if he wants credibility.
3. Enforce strict discipline amongst the Ministers and bureaucrats.
4. Provide efficiency in goverment services.
5. Never forget his words "3 years", "peace", "election".
