Anybody went to the Dashai party??? I was there but couldn't recognize anyone from sajha..obviously cuz i havaen't seen anyone before....well, the party was so so i reckon...
I was looking at the guys with big tummy thinking that might be vooduuuu but huhuhu he said he wasn't there.....
but guess what i saw Ne0, wanted to say hi but hmmm he was too busy taking girls' snaps....i wonder when he gonna post those pics.....
So, any feedback from the party????

Gosh ! I missed it. I wonder why it was on Monday, had to work till 7 yesterday.When is the next party ?? How about one for tihar??? I am bored to death, can we have a party again?????????????

Did anyone remember to sing/play the national anthem at the party?

Seems you didn't attend the so called 'Dashain Party' coz 'Rato Ra Chandra Surya Jangi Nishan Hamro' national anthem was played on and on while the crowd gathered.

How would someone in their right state of mind justify national anthem being played in the background "while the crowd gathered" for crying out loud!!! Let me ask you this. Did you stand up when it was played? Did you feel an ounce of patriotism? Did you feel anything? and just to get the records straight, last time I checked, the national anthem of Nepal started with " shri man..."

VB, Dashain is not Nepal's independence day; it's a festival. And in Nepal, we don't stick china made little stickers in our car's window to show patriotism nor do we hate and steriotype on certain kind of race to feel patroitic. Isn't organizing a Dashain in this foreign country enough to get some credit for one's love towards his/her nation?

So National anthem could be anything according to u..coz u're not sure what is it actually.
For your info. Rato Ra Chandra Surya is also a Rastriya Geet of Nepal. Shri Man Gambir is national anthem but it praises the King and wish his long life but at present political situation nobody wanna sing that. Rato Ra Chandra is more suitable.
I totally second of Dyamn. very logical points....we celebrate Dashain in foreign land is enough to justify the love for our culture and nation.
