I argee with you UT2 on allowing anyone to participate in beauty contests.
But, we should be equally tolerate with protesting against the contests.
Their right to protest shows the freedom of speech (somewhat atleast)
Even in the US, the first Miss Nepal-America had protestors outside the event.
Then, ANA refused to hold future contests.
These protestors are of 2 types.
1) the ugly, who can't stand beauty (just like at the photo of protestors)
2) the idealist, who want a society not judged by beauty. This is impossible!!!
When these people meet a guy/girl or get married, you can't tell me that they don't
think about beauty. Otherwise, even the Elephant Man would get laid.
The protestors should redirect their energy into much more importan issues like poverty, medical treatment, or girl trafficking.
