 ear fellows, I am currently on OPT and working. My OPT expires in January and I won't be able to extend my opt because my employer does not want to enroll in e-verify. I doubt. But you should be fine if you can get acceptence letter before your opt expires. But best thing is to discuss with your international advisor ( from the grad college you are about to join)

Thanks for starting this thread, i believe this is really important subject for many students. I am also in same situation , and won't be able to join college until fall 2011 I would also like to know what are the options between Jan2011-Aug2011 . It would be really great if anyone who has been in this situation before replies. I am in DFW metro if that helps u guys to give me some options. Thanks a lot in advance I really appreciate your time and input.
