why the heck would Indian Govt. be so tempted to print Nepali passport in a cheap rate?? whereas Sood clearly mentions that printing Indian passport costs higher than this rate for Nepali passport (IRs. 200)! There was definitely something being cooked in the South corner... Glad that our voice reached in time to halt the process!!

If India wanted to help Nepal, would they have gone out of their way to solicit the help? The letter itself hints to “certain security concerns.” Now, giving them the benefit of doubt, they are concerned that the MRP might be misused by any other printing authority which could have been influenced by India’s enemies (aka its western neighbor). They thus want the control over the printing. But as a sovereign country, Nepal should have the right and full control over an important procedure like this specially when we have the capability to do so (now that the process is getting delayed, printing MRP on time is jeopardized), regardless of how it affects any other country. The SC and PAC decision is right and we should start the printing process asap.

And look at this guy, he seems to be well nurtured by Indian embassy Source:http://www.nagariknews.com.np/ एमआरपीः बंग्याउन खोजिएका तथ्य सोमबार, 12 अप्रेल 2010 10:09 विष्णु रिजाल मेसिनले पढ्न सक्ने राहदानी (एमआरपी) भारतलाई छाप्न दिने सरकारी निर्णयलाई विवादास्पद बनाउन तथ्यलाई बंग्याएर प्रचार गरिँदैछ।

(and THE TALK in MEDIA Started COMING around WHAT JAN END??] Also if anyone try to find out when was Actual TENDER was CANCELED by DoFA? ALSO read (from Times of India) The Nepal government had floated a global tender and shortlisted four foreign companies to prin machine-readable passports. However, the tender process was stopped on the insistence of the Foreign Minister and given to the Indian state undertaking despite it quoting a higher rate and despite the Public Accounts Committee of parliament asking the government to follow the tender procedure. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/south-asia/Passportgate-makes-Nepal-cancel-deal-with-India/articleshow/5785435.cms

History that shows real face of India: 1. Treaty of 1950 There was a conflict going on between Ransa and ppl but Democratic India signed a treaty with a totalitarian government which was abput to collapse is not that odd?? Nehru was the prime minister, what type of leader and country do that?? The treaty was signed on July 31, 1950, Ranasa were thrown Feb 18, 1951 2.Koshi treaty Signed on 25th April 1954 between prime minister Matrika Prasad Koirala and Nehru. after a year of signing the treaty Matrika was out of office (14 April 1955). If you read history you will find that Nepal was in political turmoil at that time. 3. Amendment of Koshi treaty King Mahendra took power (Dec 15, 1960) the Koshi treaty was ammended ( 19 December 1966), the land and everything was leased to India for 199 yrs instead of 99 years in the original treaty. This was offer to king Mahendra to control the "kangresi" activities in India. 4. 2046 Janaandolan This is recent history, and it is open to everyone that India said if King Birendra to signs a special relation treaty with India, India will help King to dismiss The janaandolan. 5. Second Jana Andolan: In one interview ex Prime minster Lokendra Bahadur Chand has mentioned that during the last days of jana andolan King Gynanendra mentioned him that there is a proposal from India,If we agree to go togther with India in the matters of foreign relation and the security they will help to dismiss the andolan. Look at the behavior of our friendly southern neighbor. Do we need enemy when we have such a friend? It is not the desire of the Nepalese to be anti Indian but it is the Indian policy which is making Nepalese anti Indian. Now look at the funny things India have done: 1. It is the largest democracy in the world with hard working people and fertile land but it sided with Communist Russia during the cold war. Sounds joke to me 2. It tested nuke in 1974, but started to produce it for military use in 1998. By 1998 people already realized the stupidity of making it and were trying to get rid of it. 3. Now it is clear to everyone that Nepali Maoist were talking shelter in India. India knew that and it took Maoist as a bargaining stuff with Nepali government. So called "great Indians" never learned lessons from US mistakes of harboring Bin Laden to fight against Russians in Afghanistan.

few more points 1. During panchayet era India always used Congress/ communist as a bargain card, that is OK because Nepal was not fully democratic country. 2. They were using Maoist as a bargaining card against a democratic Nepal. To use a terror outfit against a democratic country is against common sense. May be common sense is not common to Indian policy makers. 3. Now they are using criminal Terai outfits as a bargaining card against republic Nepal. This proves that whatever political system is in Nepal, India will always use some sort of group that will play a role in destabilizing Nepal. and once the water is muddy Indian will come with some Idiotic idea to attack on sovereignty of Nepal. 4. This time, I think in the name of controlling criminal outfit in Terai, they are saying hey if you want us to control criminal outfits operating in Terai which have bases in India we need to have passport control over every Nepali. Fortunately for us they failed big time, Shame on you India.

Good points, _____. However, we should condemn Nepali traitors (who compromise with India for one or the other reasons) more than India itself. In the passport case, MAKUNE and Sujata. Indians are obviously thinking in their advantage. How can we blame them? Down with classless Nepali politicians.
BTW, paap dhuri bata karaunchha... Indian govt has acknowledged that Maoists are their biggest internal threat.
