*To all who has some knowledge about the eligibility requirements to sit for the CPA exams, or various business majors.
Does anyone know if we can take all the required accounting classes, and other required classes simultaneously while doing our undergrad, so that one could sit for the CPA exams as soon as possible after they are done with their undergraduate? I emailed the Texas Board about the same thing, seems their replies are not very helpful. However, they said I could do it. I am yet to talk with my advisors, but I would surely appreciate a few pointers from any sources.
One more question. I am an accounting major, and as a second option (if the above fails) I am prolly doing a minor in Finance. A Junior, I have only so many semesters left before my graduation. I applied to the Honors School, and I think they are interested as well. Now, since being a part of the Honor School asks a little bit more subjects per year than normal, I think I might have to chose to be in Honor School and just have the accounting degree, or I could just go to the regular business school, and also have a minor in Finance...hmm..
There it is. I would really appreciate any info or suggestions. Thank you for taking some time to go through this.
