hello guys, i m thinking of marrying a girl (US Citizen)...how long does it take to process for the Green Card ? and what type of questions do i expect in interview ? I will be moving to different state after getting married ? does it matter ? Do we have to have same address ? if you have any information plz post it.

oh man  u r abt to get into a long long process. first get married and then go with a lawyer to file for the permanent residency. u gotta take a interview and then get the card with 2 yrs validity and after that u again need to file for the 10 yrs one. Between these there are lots n lots of other process. chk the USCIS website for all the details. Best of luck wid you green card processing

You will get green card eventually, but you have to pass many obstacles. If you are not marrying for paper porpose, then, you would overcome those obstables. Otherwise, you would fall sooner or later on those obstacles.

       First, get marry, then get lawyer, then file the case in uscis, then, after two years, you would get first interview, if you are really hunband and wife, then you will pass this interview.

          If you are not real wife-husband and never spent a month together ( means share a bed), then uscis officer would definitely neil you down. They would ask all kinds of questionair including private moments of wife and husband !!!! and, they would except same answer from both of you. In this case, they take interview at same time, but differetn room and later on sychronize these answers.

    If you pass this interview, they may call you for another interview after 2 or three years. So, its not a cup of tea !!!!! 

lol..... jata bata ni citizenship chiaiyeko cha sabailai...but gc/citizenship paunea kailea ho kailea but these processes are shucking all of us.

It totally depends on different situations.  Based on  USCIS web site it takes  6 months to 2 years. I have some friends who got their Green card with in 5 months marrying US citizen.  So good luck with your new adventure.
