I met a guy,was a friend of my friend from Nepal. He was a bit in hurry as he said he needs to pick up his daughter. After he left, i asked my friend how old is his daughter, my friend told me that he married an american girl and has a baby from her. Then i followed so many questions one after another. My friend just told, he wanted to have a GREEN CARD, so married an american. That was just a paper marriage but they stayed together and had a baby. After that got divorced and he is single parent of the baby girl.I was so amazed to know that. Infact i hated the guy, and was thinking how can he marry ......just for a Green Card???????....just some thinking were going around my mind. Then the guy came back with his daughter. She was just three years old. She was really a lovely child. After talking with them for a while, i realised that the man is so loving person. He loves his daugheter by heart. He is with his friends, only boys in an appartment and raising a baby. I compared the situation with the film "Hey Baby ".He was talking about buying a bycycle for the baby. Then again he left carrying a baby. I returned to my appartment. My mind was only thinking about that baby girl and her father. No one in Nepal does that. In fact, if any one in Nepal knows about him, about the life he is living now, one is say he is a real fool.........but.........i cannot say that after meeting him with his daughter, knowing how happy is he with his baby.

It is not fair to say that "no one in Nepal does that"..... things are different... we do not have much divorce cases in Nepal. And, by the way, Dads in Nepal too love their children , not less!!

We don't have divorce cases in Nepal because that is typically male dominated society.

Ya....I agree that.... So, you believe that if the same situation were to happen in Nepal, Dad wouldn't love his child as much as here in US ?
