As far as I know a "reigning" Kumari is not allowed to leave her abode during her "tenure".

as far as i know i dont think they can leave anywhere and they have to attend school in that house they live in and they cant get married and have to spend rest of their lives in that temple
its really sad
i mean she is like 10 how can her parents make such a decision (or who ever decides there is god in her come on) for these kids when they r like 5-6 i mean that ridiculous
i think they should do kumari then they should let these kids go and let them live their lives
