I do agree that a lot of teenagers/young people in Ktm are more "forward" than a lot of us who reside in USA and Canada. I still don't agree with your generalization though. There is always a two side to every story. Just because a handful of people exploit their "freedom" in such a DISGUSTING manner does not mean thar everyone from KTM or Pokhara is to blame. Ofcourse, there are as many good girls as they're these ones. Depends where and when you go for looking.
Even in Western society they're both types of people; girls like the ones you mentioned and girls who are exactly opposite and if anything a LOT more respectable.

Chemical no that is not Modernization, may be Westernization in their head. MOdernization to be would be taking an active part to make Nepal a better place, both academically and politically, but keeping your values and culture intact. I think we have a lot to learn from Western society as far as work ethics, and politics goes.

Whatever mentioned on this thread is really true, but killing them is not the solution. Nepal has changed a lot in recent years. I was in Kathmandu last November, there are lot of bars with nude dancing, When I went to one bar opposite Sanchay Kosh Bhawan, it reminded me of Live sex club in Amsterdam where they have sex on the stage. In this bar, a guy comes in only Underwear and girl is totally nude, they do all action (sex positions) on the stage but no hardcore stuff, just acts, including kissing. For a minute I was num. I came out of the bar around 3am, there WAS traffic jam like morning rush hour. All the taxis waiting outside had a girl at the back sit and they were asking every possible client if they want ......l. As I was bit too drunk, i couldn't wait to get hit the bed and my hotel has restricted me from taking girl in to the room, So i was not bothered abut the girls. But what surprised me a lot is there are male prostitution as well. They dress like a girl and stand on the street. I ask the taxi driver if they are real gay, he explainbed me that they are student in the afternoon and work at night.
